Business energy and utilities for dental practices and clinics
Clinics run sterilisers, lighting, computers and treatment equipment through the day, and patients ring and pay at the front desk. We look after the energy, water, phones and general waste, and tell you plainly which waste needs a licensed specialist.
- Electricity and gas quoted separately, with end dates checked first
- Plain about clinical waste: it needs a licensed specialist

How Helios helps dental practices and clinics.
Practice managers juggle enough. Helios keeps your energy, water, waste and renewals on one list, with one contact.
One contact for the practice
Electricity, gas, water, general waste and insurance renewals on one list, so the practice manager has one person to call.
General waste, clearly separated
We arrange general waste and recycling. Clinical waste needs a specialist collector, and we tell you so.
Equipment and heating priced properly
Sterilisers, compressors and heating shape your usage. We compare rates as printed against your own bills.
One practice or a group
Every practice checked on its own consumption, with all end dates and documents in your portal.
What clinics usually need from us
Clinic waste: what we arrange and what needs a specialist
Healthcare places such as GP surgeries are covered by Simpler Recycling in England, so dry recyclables, food waste and general waste must be kept apart. We arrange those collections.
Clinical, offensive and sharps waste are different. GOV.UK says healthcare offensive waste must be segregated from both clinical and mixed municipal waste. The CQC says dental practices must have an amalgam separator and that authorised waste management establishments must collect amalgam waste. NHS England’s HTM 07-01 sets out how healthcare waste should be managed. These streams need a licensed specialist carrier, and we do not arrange them.

Energy in a practice
Dental trade press describes practices needing equipment, lighting and computers throughout the day, with sterilisers among the points to look at. In 2022, Dentistry reported on a practice whose fixed tariff ended with no replacement offered during market volatility, which is exactly why we check end dates and notice windows well ahead.
