What do I need to send you?
A recent electricity bill for each site, with all pages. If you would like us to speak to your current supplier for you, we will also ask you to sign a letter of authority.
Will my supply be interrupted if I switch?
No. Switching changes who bills you. The cables, the meter and the supply to your premises stay the same.
Do you quote gas at the same time?
Yes, but separately. Gas and electricity are always quoted as separate contracts, so you can see each price on its own.
What if my contract has already ended?
You can move onto out-of-contract or deemed rates, which Ofgem says are usually higher than negotiated rates. Send us a recent bill and we will look at your options straight away. There is no cooling-off period once you agree a business energy contract, so we go through the terms with you before you sign.
Do businesses pay 20% VAT on electricity?
Usually, yes: business fuel and power is standard rated unless it qualifies for the reduced rate. Very low-use supplies can fall under the de minimis rules in HMRC VAT Notice 701/19. Your bill shows which rate you are paying.
